Yesterday we were fortunate enough to beat the weather and play our first game in three weeks, we’re grateful to our grounds men Gordon who works tirelessly on our behalf.
We welcomed Blackpool to our ground, conditions were heavy, but no rain.
Blackpool started brightly and took the game to us, we upped our work rate and started to gain a foot hold in the game, our man from Valencia pounced on a loose ball and off he went down the right wing beating the wing and fullback on his way, plenty of pace and power. Julio has been a fantastic addition to the team, a great character and great player. This seemed to settle us down and we worked our way into the game.
Second half the boys started to move the ball with pace, good movement and support play off the ball all the hard work in training was starting to pay off. Blackpool made us work right to the final whistle.
Our Man of the match with a great performance was Johnny Owen.

Next week Upper Eden will be visiting us for a league game, so we’ll train hard in the week and look forward to the game.
